Paramount Network today announced veteran television executive Lauren Dolgen will be the brand’s Senior Vice President, Unscripted Development and Production effective June 3. Dolgen will be based in Los Angeles and report to Keith Cox, President of Development and Production for Paramount Network and TV Land.
Dolgen, one of the biggest hit makers in the industry, having created such iconic programs as Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, will lead the unscripted development team and oversee original productions in her new position at Paramount Network. Home to fan favorites like Bar Rescue, Ink Master and Lip Sync Battle, Dolgen will lead efforts to expand Paramount Network’s unscripted original programming slate.

Dolgen most recently served as Head of BuzzFeed Studios, leading efforts to build the Studio’s portfolio with original development and development based on BuzzFeed’s impressive IP portfolio. As Head of BuzzFeed Studios, she oversaw development of original productions for BuzzFeed partners across TV, SVOD, and Film, as well as the company’s growing slate of original digital series, which is the fastest-growing driver of revenue for the popular online media company.
Prior to Buzzfeed, Dolgen was Head of West Coast Development for Viceland, the joint venture between Vice Media and A+E Networks, where she oversaw West Coast-based production and development for the network, including series Hate Thy Neighbor.
Dolgen first began her career at MTV, spending nearly 20 years with the network. She made her mark with credits on such influential and iconic series including 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2, Rob & Big, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness, The Real World, Parental Control, Are You The One?, Punk’d, America’s Best Dance Crew and Jackass.
Born in New York, Dolgen grew up in Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College.
