The Best Holiday Cocktails You've Never Heard Of

The holiday season brings colder weather and a new palate of cocktails. We teamed up with and our resident mixologists to highlights some of this year's best drinks.

The holiday season brings with it shorter days, colder temperatures and a completely new palate with respect to cocktails. There's nothing like the taste of hot cider or even rich chocolate to help you relax on a chilly winter's night. If you'd like to be the shining star of your next holiday party, try some new cocktails that you might not have known about. This is all thanks to our friends at and the resident mixologists that you see each week on Bar Rescue. Without further ado:

Salted Caramel Apple with Baileys® Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur

This is a take on the classic winter time treat that's been modernized and made appropriate for your next adult gathering. You'll be reminded of your childhood with each sweet and savory sip of this delicious dessert drink.

- 1 oz. Baileys® Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur
- 0.5 oz. Smirnoff® Green Apple
- 0.25 oz. cinnamon & sugar mix to rim shot glass
- 1 red apple slice

How to Mix:
1. Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled shot glass rimmed with cinnamon sugar mix.
3. Garnish with red apple slice.

CAPTAIN MORGAN CIDER with Captain Morgan® Original Spiced Rum

Take a spin on your traditional cider and add some Captain Morgan Spiced Rum for a brand new flavor experience. The flavors in this Caribbean spirit really help bring a bland cocktail to it's full and exciting potential.

- 1.25 oz. Captain Morgan® Original Spiced Rum
- 6 oz. apple cider
- 1 piece(s) cinnamon stick(s)

How to Mix:
1. Shake all ingredients, except hot water & pour into a coffee mug.
2. Garnish with a half pat of butter.

CHOCOLATE MARTINI with Smirnoff® Vanilla

This is about as close to having dessert in a glass as you can possibly get. The flavors of rich Godiva chocolate blend exquisitely with the vanilla flavor of the Smirnoff spirit to take your cocktail game to new heights. This is an excellent choice for after-dinner drinks.

- 0.75 oz. Smirnoff® Vanilla
- 0.75 oz. Godiva® Original Liqueur
- 0.25 oz. shaving(s) of chocolate

How to Mix:
1. In a shaker with ice, add Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka and Godiva Chocolate Liqueur.
2. Shake and strain into a martini glass.
3. Garnish with chocolate shavings (optional).

WHITE PARTY with Smirnoff® Amaretto

The only way to complement the scenery of snow-covered trees and winter landscapes is with a cocktail that fits right in. The sweet notes of Amaretto and grape juice blend magnificently, and the result is a mixture of flavors that is sure to impress.

- 1.5 oz. Smirnoff® Amaretto
- 1 oz. white grape juice
- 2 oz. club soda
- 0.25 tsp sugar

How to Mix
1. Build in a rocks or hurricane glass over ice.
2. Stir and garnish with an orange wedge and cherry.

OBAN 14 YEARwith Oban® 14 Year Old

This is a must-have for cocktail purists and Scotch enthusiasts. There's nothing quite like relaxing at the end of a long day on the ski slopes than with a fine aged Scotch whiskey. And if you're looking for fine Scotch whiskey, it's hard to miss with Oban.

- 1.25 oz. Oban® 14 Year Old

How to Mix:
1. Appearance: Olive gold Nose: Rich sweetness and fruits - oranges, lemons and pears, with sea-salt and peaty smokiness Body: Full, rich Palate: Mouth-filling late autumn fruits - dried figs and honey-sweet spices
